1. Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu

Kodaikanal is easily reachable by road. Tamil Nadu State buses, luxury coaches, private taxis ply on the route. Madurai is the nearest airport and railway connection.
2. Valley of Flowers, Uttarakhand

How to reach
Govindghat is the nearest bus stand from the Valley of Flowers. There are two routes to reach Govindghat, one is via Srinagar from Rishikesh, and the alternate route is from Haldwani via Ranikhet to Govindghat. The nearest airport is in Dehradun and the nearest railway is in Rishikesh.
3. Cherrapunji, Meghalaya
The second rainiest place on Earth, Cherrapunji is one of the places travellers’ must experience in the monsoon. Forests, farmlands, pastures and houses shine with a healthy glow. Clouds, play a game of hide and seek, engulfing the landscape in a beautiful whiteness, bringing down the visibility to a null. How to reach
Cherrapunji is well-connected through the roadways. Shillong is quite near to it and so are Guwahati railway station and the closest airport in Guwahati.
4. Deoria Tal, Uttarakhand
A mixture of mythology and natural beauty make Deoria Tal an enchanting place to visit. Especially during the monsoons when the little lake is brimming with emerald green water. Located about 3 km on an uphill trek from the villages of Mastura and Sari, on the Ukhimath-Chopta road in Uttarakhand, this lake is believed to be the bathing places of devas according to the Puranas. It is surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of Chaukhamba, Nilkantha, Bandarpunch, Yellow Tooth,Kalanag and Kedar Range. On a clear day, you might be lucky enough to catch a captivating reflection of these peaks on the lake waters. Enclosed by thick forests and lush greenery this place is a trekker’s delight.
How to Reach
One needs to drive to Sari Village from Ukhimath and from Sari Village one can reach Deoria Tal via a trek route of less than 3 km approx. There is no motorable road to Deoria Tal. The trek is a paved path from Sari Village up to Deoria Tal, although it is quite steep at some places. There are many rest houses or shelters on the trek.
5. Spiti, Himachal Pradesh
This high-altitude world within a world in remote Himachal Pradesh is bordered by Ladakh in the north, Tibet to the east, Kinnaur to the southeast, and the Kullu Valley to the south. It's only accessible from May to October, most conveniently from Manali. All kinds of activities are possible there, from yak safaris to volunteering in villages.
How to Reach
Remotely placed, it doesn’t have its own railway station or airport but it is still easily accessible via well-connected by road to the other cities and the adjoining states from, Kullu Airport at Bhuntar, Kullu is the nearest Airport and Joginder Nagar railway station & Shimla railway station are the closest railway stations.
6. Orchha, Madhya Pradesh

It is easily accessible from Bangalore via road if you are planning to go on a road trip. The nearest airports are Mysore, Mangalore and Bangalore. Coorg doesn’t have a station by itself but the nearest railway stations are Mysore, Mangalore, and Hassan.
9. Mount Abu, Rajasthan
