How HO HO model works:

  1. Start your tour from HOHO information Centre, Opposite Connaught Place Police Station, Near Hanuman Temple, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, New Delhi 110 001. 
  2. Start time: 7:30am and every 40 min.  End Time: 7:00pm. You can also end tour early if want.
  3. Make a list of places if you want to visit. Board the bus & get down at the places you want to visit. Bus leaves after dropping you and next bus comes after 40 min. Board the bus and go to the next destination. If don’t want to visit a particular place, simply keep seating and skip the place. Bus takes you the next destination.

Tour Itinerary & Routes:

  1. Red Route Destinations: Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Feroz Shah Kotla, Red Fort, Rajghat, National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), India Gate, Purana Qila, Humayun Tomb, Safdarjung Tomb, Indra Gandhi Museum, Nehru Museum, Rastrapti Bhawan, National Museum and Jantar Mantar
  2. Green Route Destinations: India Gate, National Gallery of Modern art (NGMA), Humayun Tomb, Lajpat Nagar, Lotus Temple, Saket Market, Qutub Minar, Hauz Khas Village, Delhi Haat and Safdarjung Tomb.
  3. Red + Green Route: Covers 19 destinations of both routes (Red and Green) in 2 days. 

For 1st time travellers, it is advisable to take 2 days tour to cover maximum destinations of your choice. However if anyone wants to go with 1day tour, a maximum of  7-8 destinations of choice from 20+ places can be covered. The buses start, at an interval of 40 minutes, from Baba Kharak Singh Marg for the 20 sites in the HOHO circuit comprising monuments, museums and popular markets of Delhi.   2. From Airport – 20 mins by Express Metro from T3 to Shivaji Stadium metro station, (4 mins from HOHO Centre)  
  3. New Delhi Railway Station – 10 mins by tuk-tuk.  
  4. Nizammudin Railway Station – 30 mins by tuk-tuk.  
  5. Old Delhi Railway Station – Nearest Pick up point – Red Fort, 10 mins by tuk-tuk.  
  6. Taxi – Take a Taxi, popular services are Ola & Uber. Enter drop location “HOHO Delhi”
  7. DTC Bus -It is well connected by DTC (Delhi Transport Corporation) nearest bus stops – Hanuman Mandir & Shivaji Stadium.  

Tips before start of travel:

  1. Carry Adhaar Card or any address of proof for domestic travellers and passport is mandatory for foreign guests.
  2. Report at least 30 minutes before the departure of the bus. The more you report early, the more places can be covered. 
  3. Carry drinking water & eatables with yourself as sometimes bus takes time to reach to the eating joint due to unpredictable Delhi traffic situations.
  4. For solo travelers, HOHO bus is the most affordable, cheap and safe option to visit travel atractions of Delhi.
  5. It would be a good idea to end the trip at red fort and explore Chandni Chowk after that (5 mins away) if you happen to be a foodie! Chandni Chowk has a metro station too nearby incase you would like to catch a metro back to home/place of stay.
