Are you looking for some new, exciting destination to host a birthday party or pre-wedding celebrations? You can now do that on Noida Metro! Yes, you heard right! Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has launched an initiative allowing people to book individual Metro coaches for a birthday or pre-wedding celebrations on wheels. People would be able to book coaches with stationary coaches running through the day with one break between 11 pm and 2 am while the operational ones will run during regular hours. People would have to pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 20000 and a license fee of Rs 5000 to Rs 10000 an hour for the coach ride. Those who want to book the coaches would have to reserve their bookings 15 days before the event. People would be allowed to book four coaches and 50 individuals will be allowed per coach. NMRC will also provide the housekeeping staff or Supervisory Staff as deemed appropriate by NMRC can be deployed.
NMRC is offering services under four categories:
a) For undecorated coach plus running metro- Rs.8,000
b) For undecorated coach plus static metro- Rs.5,000
c) For decorated coach plus running metro- Rs.10,000
d) For decorated coach plus static metro- Rs.7,000
It seems a win-win situation for the people and the NMRC. The people will get an ideal place for celebrations while the NMRC can generate revenue!
