Description
Located on the east bank of the Sabarmati River, Bhadra Fort was built in the year 1411 by Ahmad Shah of Muzaffarid dynasty. He also happens to be the founder of the city of Ahmedabad. One of the main attractions of the fort that draws hordes of visitors is the Teen Darwaza or the Maidan Shahi. It is where royal games and processions used to once take place. The fort is one of the most lively places around the city.
