Description
Priyadarshini Park and Sports Complex is a popular sea-facing attraction that is frequented by locals and tourists throughout the year. Lush greenery blankets the park, offers a serene atmosphere. Mud tracks are formed in the park for brisk walking and jogging, which is why it is also famous as a jogger's park amongst people. The sports complex within the premises of the park has a well-equipped gymnasium, four tennis courts and a 400-metre Olympic track. Training classes for yoga, aerobics, gymnastics, golf, basketball and boxing are also conducted here. In 2013, this park became the venue of the 25th International Kite Festival, a vibrant event that draws many people to Mumbai.
