Description
Rabindra Bharati University Museum, located within the premises of Jorasanko Thakur Bari (Tagore House), provides a fascinating glimpse into the inspiring life and works of Rabindranath Tagore. Its highlights are the original paintings, photographs, manuscripts and other records of the Bengali polymath and his family. India's first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru established this museum, which covers a floor area of approximately 3000 sq ft. At present, this museum is an integral part of the Rabindra Bharati University.
